Assistant Coach Jeff Sprouse resides in Buckley and is a 1999 WRHS graduate. He played rugby for the Washington State University Rugby Football Club as their Open-side Flanker (2001-2003). Coach Sprouse had the honor of leading his team (with no coach) as the Club President & Co-Captain to the Div 1 Regional playoffs in Oakland, CA 2003 where they beat Central Washington University (Perennial Pac-10 North Champions) for the second time that season. He has never been so proud of playing with a group of players that season who exemplified determination, heart, fitness, mental & physical toughness, which is what he believes is a recipe of success for any team.
